Sat proudly on the banks of the River Thames is our big-and-beautiful Chertsey pub.

We’re here for celebrations, quiet pints, Sunday lunch and everything in-between. Our food is a combo of pub classics (think fish & chips and sausage & mash) with a little aspiration and cultural influence from South Africa – thanks to our Landlord Mat.

Enjoy our pub garden; come rain or shine; sheltering from any pesky showers under our heated stretch tent.

And we’ve got 47 hotel-style bedrooms perched above and beside too. We’re really the full package when it comes to family holidays, away-with-work stays or those cosy weekend mini-breaks in Surrey.

We’re located 1 mile away from Chertsey train station, which means as easy-as-pie travel to us by public transport, or when heading out to explore the sights of London too. Our car park is pretty big too, if you’re travelling by car.

A fabulous lunch

Our family of 4 enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch at The Bridge. The quality of the roast was absolutely excellent as was the wine. The pecan pie dessert was also delicious. All in all a fabulous lunch in a beautiful setting.

Auntie Jean’s 90th birthday

As always the service was excellent, the view of the river lovely and food first rate. But extra credit this time to our waiter who positively knocked himself out to be helpful and pleasant. As it was Auntie Jean’s 90th birthday he brought our cake to the table with lit candles singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to give us the lead.

Simply marvellous evening!

We had a wonderful evening and would highly recommend a visit. We started our evening with drinks in the garden, enjoying wonderful views over the river. The food was delicious and staff were excellent.
